Be Better Not Upset

Today I just want to go over a simple message. Look, no one is perfect, but we can all be better. It is very important that you know this and it is also very important that you know that being better is all that matters. If you were wrong, then you were wrong, that is okay. There is no reason for you to continue to hold yourself back after a failure.
What do I mean? Let us say you thought Y was the right decision and your friend told you that Z was the right decision. And in the end it turns out that Z was the right decision. Well the last thing you want to do is continue to tell yourself that Y is the right decision. Or continue to tell your friend that Y is the right decisions. You need to admit that you were wrong and you need to move on as fast as possible. Because like I said earlier, being better is all that matters. You can try and be the tough guy or girl and be angry about it but that won't get you anywhere. Admit it, learn, and move on. And don't have a bad feeling about it. Go ahead and tell your friend, "hey you were absolutely right, thank you for at least trying to steer me in the right direction." Obviously every scenario is different but you get the point. If you are wrong about something that is not a big deal. It becomes a big deal when you get angry, stuck on it, or upset about it, so don't do these things. Move on and be better. That is the best thing you can do and the only thing you should always do.
