Fear

"Lean into your fears" - Grant Cardone

I have heard Grant say this phrase about a hundred times now and it never really registered until very recently. We all experience fear and we will continue to experience it for the rest of our days especially if we commit to a great life. Yes, I said that fear is necessary for a great life. You see, to live a life with no fear is to live a life of comfort and there is no greatness in comfort. There is only greatness in confronting your fears. That means that greatness is impossible to achieve in the absence of fear. Just as success is impossible to achieve in the absence of obstacles. So let go of this popular misconception that you shouldn't experience any fear, you should experience fear, what you shouldn't do, is retreat from it.

So what should you do? You should lean into it. I can give you huge explanation but you don't need that because this is very simple. Running from your fears or ignoring them never works. That leaves you with one option, confronting your fears. If your afraid of something the best decision you can make is to confront that fear(be ethical of course)! Why else should you confront your fears? Because they aren't going anywhere until you do confront them. You can only retreat from them and ignore them for so long until they show up again and remind you that they aren't going anywhere. So the next time you come across something that scares you, confront it because it's the best decision and because if you don't, it'll be back.
