Celebration is For The Successful

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate to you that celebration is something you should reserve for clear and true victories. Now, I am not against celebrations or parties. They are what they are. And what they are has very much to do with why I am writing this article.

To celebrate something is to honor some achievement. So if there is no achievement being honored, then you cannot really call it a celebration or a party. It would just be a random/chaotic social gathering. Even if you planned it, even if you decorated the tables, even if you sent invitations; if there is no achievement being honored there cannot be a celebration. One can easily look at this as an equation; (Achievement) must be = to or Greater Than (Celebration). But what if there was some achievement, for example, a birthday, it is your cousins 5th birthday. Living to the age of 5 is an achievement and does deserve some celebration, but you cannot make a very big celebration for this achievement. Let's say you did though, let us say that you celebrate for 5 days. Well since the achievement was at; let's say, a 2, then any celebration done beyond a 2 will actually result in chaos from there on. In other words, after the 2nd day, the people celebrating will begin to go into chaos because the purpose will no longer be there, it would have ran out by then. As an equation, this could be written as; 2 achievement = 5 celebration. And since the achievement must always be greater than or equal to the celebration, the scenario given above will cause some level of chaos because it is not balanced and it is also too weighted on the wrong side(celebration).

Why you don't want to celebrate more than the level of achievement being honored? The reason you don't want to celebrate more than the achievement is because your subconscious or mind(whatever you want to call it) is able to distinguish between purpose and no-purpose conditions. In other words, if the achievement is a level 1 and the celebration is level 3, as soon as the celebration reaches 2, your mind will go into a no-purpose state; confusion/chaos. I say chaos because there is no definite reaction, it is more of a collage of negative reactions; things like boredom, anger, sadness, apathy, etc..

So what would be the ideal celebration??? Well, the ideal celebration would be one where the achievement is equal to the celebration or one where the achievement is greater than the celebration. In these conditions, the mind and individual is fully aware of what it going on and why it is going on. There is certainty and purpose, and so there can be control in the environment, and with control in the environment, there can be joy and happiness.
