Hateful Heart Hazard or HHH

Today I want to talk about why you must stay away from hateful people. Notice how I did not say "people that hate X", or "people that hate Y", or "people that hate G". You must stay away from all hateful people, regardless of who or what they hate on. A hater is a hater and hate is hate. Hating a bad person or group is just as terrible as hating a good person or group. What do I mean by this? There is no justification for hate. Just because you're hating on a bad person, does not mean what you are doing is okay, it's wrong. Okay, so now that we have gone over what group/type of people you need to remove from your life, we can now go into why.
Here is an example. Bill is on his way way to his 1pm class. It is 12:55pm and he is exactly 4min from his class. Someone is biking, doesn't see Bill and crashes into him. Bill has two options here, he can get angry/hateful with the biker and spend 5min calling him names. Or he can get up, make sure he is okay, make sure the biker is okay, give the biker some small advice if he wants, and go on with his day. So now let's go over the two scenarios and what they did to Bill. In the hate scenario Bill was late to class this is a (-), and subconsciously/consciously he feels bad about calling the biker names, this is another (-). You can see that this scenario did not play out very well for Bill. He hurt himself directly(being late to class) and he hurt the biker which also hurts him to some degree; regardless of whether or not he knows this(future article). Okay so now let's go over the first scenario. He got to class on time, he made sure the biker was okay and gave him some advice for the future(whether to not the biker takes the advice does not really matter). These are two (+)s for Bill here. Now, one can very easily see which is the best decision.
This was a fairly basic example but there was one point I was trying to make with it. It costs you to hate. It can cost time, money, energy, a lot of things. In this example, it cost Bill energy, time, and it made him feel bad about himself. Why would a person who cares about themselves and loves themselves do this to themselves? They wouldn't. They wouldn't do this to themselves unless they hated themselves. Do you see how that works? So in delivering hate to the biker, Bill also delivered some hate to himself. And the more hate he send his way the more hate he will naturally outflow.
Why must you remove the hateful people from your life? Because eventually they will end up hating you. Regardless of the type of person you are, sooner or later they will come to hate you. You're probably thinking, "they only hate on bad people and I'm a good person, so I should be fine right?" Look, hate is like a wild fire so any person wielding it will not be able to control where it goes or to whom it goes. Sooner or later, they are going to hate you too, they are going to hold you back, they are going to slow you down, and you cannot afford this! Let go of the hateful people and you will accomplish more of your goals!
