How To Be Less Lazy
Share
"You're so lazy! You don't do anything! You're always tired!" I'm sure you have been told these things by many people, probably even yourself. The terrible thing about this is that you believe them and repeat them to yourself even after the fact. What do I mean by this? Let us say you have a big meal and your body isn't responding the way it should because you fed it stuff you shouldn't. And so you don't clean your room, your mom walks in and calls you lazy. Were you actually lazy? Of course not, you were just acting lazy.
An individual cannot be lazy, this is impossible. They can however be manipulated or encouraged to act lazy. (for now you just have to believe me on this, I will go over what I mean by that in a future article). Laziness is not a beingness, but a doingness. In other words no one on this planet is a lazy person, they can however act lazy. And they act lazy because they have been encouraged to. So the key really, is to protect ourselves from those things that cause us to ACT lazy; not be lazy.
There are many, today I will go over one. This is an overwhelming environment. By overwhelming environment I mean, an environment that you have no control over/very little control over. The degree to which you have control over your environment will determine how lazy you act. Less control=More lazy. More control=less lazy. So what's one way to put this formula into effect? Keep a clean working space. No being wants to exert energy into a space where they think they have no influence or control over. If you feel powerless then you will most certainly act powerless(lazy).
What's the solution then? The solution is to exert control onto your environment. You can do this by simply picking trash up, cleaning, organizing, and so on. Very simple to do this, you don't need any RedBull, or anything like that. As soon as you've exerted control onto your environment, you will gradually start acting less lazy and being yourself; an active being.
