Strive For Great Health

Today I want to take a much more physical approach to greatness and talk about your diet; what you eat. As powerful as the mind is, only so much can be accomplished if we neglect the health of our bodies. Batman is great but if Robin is in bad condition, that team can't operate at max capacity. So this is very important you see? Now of course, a couple of problems or concerns arise from this; money and education.

Eating healthy costs money! This is the problem. But is it really? Everything costs money. Why wouldn't food cost us money? So let go of this idea that because healthy food costs money, you cant have it. It may take more work and discipline on your behalf but it is most definitely possible. Money will be somewhat of an obstacle in the beginning. Getting all your groceries at whole foods is not cheap, at least not monetarily. Because if you think about it, eating unhealthy foods will cost you more than eating healthier foods in the long run. So is it really expensive? Think about that. Okay well, money is still the obstacle, I want to make sure this article resonates with all people so I will start from the beginning. So let us say that you can't afford organic food from Whole Foods but you can afford healthy foods. By the way, you will find that spending little, to no money, on junk food will actually allow you to spend more money on healthy foods. Here's an example, you have a $100 and you spend $50 on healthy food but you feel bad because it cost more. Then you spend another $50 on junk food. See how that can be fixed? Just stop the consumption of junk food and you will have much more money for the healthy food. That's one thing you can do/should do. Another thing you can do is simply work your way up. Let us say that even if you spend no money on junk food you still don't have enough for healthy foods. Well, work and make the best with what you have and work your way up. What you don't want to do is give up. That would be very irrational.

Okay, education. This is another barrier. Not everyone was raised eating the healthiest food or having the healthiest diets. But that's okay, we now have the internet, we have resources, we have so many places we can go to find food education. Things like what foods to avoid, what foods to eat more often, what foods to eat in small amounts, etc. All these things and pieces of information are pieces that past generations never had access to because for many reasons. But today it is very simple and very easy to become educated on foods and supplements and so forth.

Do these things and you will be operating at a very high levels!
